Urm?resc blogul lui Maegan de ceva timp și am g?sit acolo o mulțime de tutoriale interesante. Când l-am v?zut pe acesta, mi-am amintit c? am o bucat? veche de piele, cu care m? jucam când eram mic? (dap, bucata asta de piele are o tradiție de familie). Colierul pe care ea l-a f?cut mi s-a p?rut perfect și am hot?rât s?-l fac. Așa, mi-aș putea purta amintirile la gât, nu s? le țin închise într-un sertar. Aveți toate informațiile și toți pașii necesari pe blogul lui Maegan, îns? aș vrea s? v? ar?t cum mi-a ieșit mie acest proiect.

Și, în timp ce-l f?ceam, m-a izbit inspirația și m-am gândit ce s? fac cu toate buc?țelele mici de material care mi-au r?mas. O s? v? ar?t în urm?torul DIY ce-a ieșit. Tot ce pot s? spun acum e c? se presupune c?-s albi și pufoși, îns? mie mi-au ieșit negri și din piele :D. Și nu, nu m? refer la cercei și medalion în form? de iepure :D. Iat? cum am realizat colierul:

I’ve been following Maegan’s blog for some time now and I found there are lots of great tutorials. When I saw this one, I remembered that I have a very old piece of leather, that I used to play with when I was little (yup, this leather kinda has a family tradition). The necklace that she made was perfct and so I decided to give it a try. This way, I could wear my memories around my neck, not leave them in a drawer. You have all the information and steps required on Maegan’s blog, but I would like to show you also how my necklace looks like and how I made it.

Also, this project has been an inspiration for the remaining little scrapes of leather and I’ll show you in my next DIY what came out of that. All I can say now is that they are supposed to be fluffy and white, but mines are black and leatherish :D. And no, I’m not talking about rabbits as earrings and pendant :D. So, this is how I made my necklace:

1. Veți avea nevoie de o coal? de hârtie, foarfec?, o bucat? de piele (a mea a fost destul de mic? și a trebuit s? adaptez m?rimea colierului la ea, îns? g?siți în magazine piele artificial? pe la 10 lei metrul), panglic? / You’ll need paper, scissors, pen, a piece of leather (mine was pretty small, so I had to draw a smaller pattern for the necklace, but in the stores you can find also artificial leather, and the prices go from 10 lei/app $3 for 1 yard), a ribbon.

2. Desenați conturul colierului, îndoiți foaia fix la jum?tatea lui și decupați / Draw the neclace’s pattern, fold the paper into half and start cutting it

3. Puneți conturul decupat pe spatele buc?ții de piele și trasați conturul / Place the paper pattern onto the back of your piece of leather and mark it

4. T?iați dup? conturul desenat / Cut your fabric along the drawn pattern

5. Tot pe spatele materialului, desenați triunghiuri sau orice altceva v? tenteaz? (care s? poat? fi decupat cu ușurinț?) / Also on the back of your material, draw triangles or any other thing (that you can easily cut)

6. îndoiți capetele colierului și faceți o mic? t?ietur? / Fold the necklace’s ends and make a small cut

7. Dac? trebuie, faceți mici retușuri. Eu am folosit dou? dintre buc?țelele decupate, le-am dat o gaur? mic? și am pus în fiecare un cercel simplu. Și iat? și rezultatul / If necessary, make little adjustmens. I used two pieces of the cut off leather, pinched a small hole in each of them and put an earring :D And this is what I got:
