Mi-am cump?rat, zilele trecut?, o revistuț?, Joy mi se pare, care avea insert o bijuterie fantezie. Inițial, m-am bucurat, mai ales c? g?sisem una chunky, așa cum îmi plac mie. Când am ajuns acas?, am observat c? una dintre cele cinci “pietroaie” era spart? și se vedea destul de urât (in fotografii nu se observ?, în realitate se vedea foarte urât). Mi-ar fi p?rut r?u s? o arunc într-un colț și m-am gândit s? o recondiționez cumva. Am dat o c?utare și am g?sit o modalitate rapid? de a o “repara”.

N-am avut nevoie decât de niște oj? și s-a nimerit ca una dintre preferatele mele, cea de la Kiko, s? se potriveasc? de minune. Cum ar?ta și ce-a ieșit dup?, vedeți mai jos.

A couple of days ago, I bought a Joy magazine, that came with a necklace insert. When I arrived home and took a closer look at the necklace, I saw that one of the stones was broken. Because I liked it so much and because it was that chunky kind of jewel which I love, I though I had to save it from being thrown away. So I started googling and I found a way to fix it. 

I only needed a nail polish and my lovely Kiko worked just fine. In these picture, you can see how it looked like before and after.

Tot ce am f?cut a fost s?-l “pictez” cu dou? straturi de oj? și s?-l sterg, pe alocuri, cu un bețigaș. Arat? fenomenal și am rezolvat și niște cercei care au, de-acum, colier asortat :D. C?utând o soluție pentru colierul stricat, am g?sit și niște “picturi” fenomenale care, dup? p?rerea mea, transform? o ieftin?ciune într-un accesoriu cool. V? las cu niște exemple, cum ar fi acesta sau acesta. Eu o s? le încerc în mod sigur.

All I had to do was to apply two coasts of polish and wipe it, here and there, with a cue tip. It look great and now I made one pair of earrings very happy, because they have a matching necklace. Wile searching for a fix for the broken necklace, I came across some other great “paintings” that, in my opinion, transform the cheapest jewel in a cool one. I leave you with some examples, here and here. I’m definitely going to do them.
