O să fiu ceva mai succintă cu privire la acest fond de ten de la Yves Rocher, pe numele lui complet – de pe cutie – Yves Rocher couleurs nature Teint Fluide Matte. Succintă pentru că nu am mai nimic de bine de zis despre el. Ah, ba da, aş avea un lucru de “bine” de zis: slavă cerului că l-am cumpărat la jumătate de preț, că altfel şi mai urât aş fi făcut. Da, l-am prins la ofertă în magazin, redus de la 68 de lei (!!! prea scump pentru ce face sau, mai bine zis, ce nu face) la 34 de lei.

L-am testat pe mână şi părea ok. Teoretic, e un fond de ten matifiant, menit să confere o senzație de catifelare şi prospețime pielii.

Dincolo de faptul că nuanța e mult prea deschisă până şi pentru mine (mea culpa pentru asta; dar nu respectiva nuanță mă deranjează), fondul ăsta de ten nu face nimic bine.

Cum arăți ca o mască într-o clipită

Să vă explic: doar ce îl aplici – şi am încercat cu mâna, cu buretele, cu pensula – că se şi usucă. Adică, dacă nu eşti vreun Flash sau vreun Speedy Gonzales, te-ai scos de-o mască pe față. Poți să freci tu după aia şi cu şmirghel, că tot ca o mască arată.

Ei, nu-i aşa că de la un fond de ten care arată ca o mască v-ați aştepta să acopere bine imperfecțiunile (păh principiu’ “dacă tot arăt ca o mască, măcar să nu mi se vadă coşurile”)? Mda, şi eu m-am aşteptat la fel. Daaar, ce să vedeți? Surpriză: nu doar că nu el acoperă, le potențează, le face vedete. În zonele mai uscate sau în cele mai delicate, cum ar fi zona ochilor, fondul ăsta de ten îți adaugă vreo 10 ani, se strecoară în toate ridurile şi ridulețele şi parcă le măreşte de 100 de ori.

OK, OK, da’ măcar matifiază? Ei, aici cât de cât parcă, parcă ar mişca ceva. Dar nu vă aşteptați la minuni: doar spun că nu străluceşte pe față. După vreo 3-4 ore fără retuş, sebumul e la loc de cinste şi se lafăie pe nas şi pe frunte, aşa cum îi place să-mi facă mai dintotdeauna.

Acum, să-mi fie cu iertare, eu sunt clientă fidelă a celor de la Yves Rocher. Le folosesc foarte des produsele, în special pe cele de igienă.

La cosmetice n-am rupt eu bugetul în două cumpărînd de la ei, dar cam tot ce am luat m-a dezamăgit. Singura trusă de farduri de ochi pe care am aruncat-o vreodată (deci nici măcar nu m-am încumetat să o dau altcuiva) a fost de la ei. Pe de altă parte, am avut creme pentru tenul gras care şi-au făcut foarte bine treaba. Deci, cumva trăsesem de ceva vreme concluzia că e mai bine să mă abțin de la cosmeticalele lor.

Însă, pentru că obişnuiesc să sar ca vrabia la sclipici când văd reduceri, am ajuns în infernul fondurilor de ten. Nu ştiu dacă vreuna dintre voi l-a folosit şi s-a înțeles cu el. Pentru mine, a fost o totală dezamăgire şi nu-l recomand nimănui.

I tested it on my hand and it looked OK at the time. In theory, this is a matifying foundation, created to offer that velvety and fresh sensation. Besides the fact that the shade is too light even for me (mea culpa, but still, it’s not the shade that annoys me), this foundation does nothing good.

How to look like a mask in a tiny second

Let me explain: as soon as you apply it – and I’ve applied it with my hand, with the sponge, with the brush – it dries. Unless you’re Flash or maybe, Speedy Gonzales, there you go, now you have a mask on your face. Rub it as long as you like, you’ll still look like a mask.

Heh, from a foundation that looks like a mask, you’d expect to cover the flaws, right? Yeah, I’d expect that. But, guess what? Surprise! Not only it doesn’t cover skin imperfections, it emphasizes them, makes them stars. Applied on dry or sensitive/delicate areas like the eyes area, this foundation makes you look 10 years older, penetrates all the wrinkles, even the smallest ones, and magnifies them like 100 times or so.

OK, OK, but does it at least mattify? Well, here it kinda does something. But do not expect any miracles. I’m just saying that your face doesn’t shine after applying it. After 3-4 hours without touch-ups, sebum regains its place and keeps partying on my nose and forehead, like it always does.

Never ever in my life

Now, please excuse me, I’m a Yves Rocher loyal customer, I often use their products, especially those for skin care. I haven’t spend bags of money with their cosmetic products, but all the cosmetic products I’ve bought so far from their stores disappointed me. The only eye shadow kit I’ve ever thrown in my entire life was a Yves Rocher one. On the other hand, I’ve had creams for my oily skin and they were among the best.

So, I knew somehow that it’s better to stay off their cosmetic range. Because I use to jump like a sparrow seeing glitter when I see discounts, this is how I just made my way into the foundation inferno by buying this one. I dunno if you ever used it and got along well with it. For me, it was one of the biggest disappointments and I advise you to avoid it.
